Sandy feet,...Refreshed soul.

There's just something about the ocean. The breeze, the salt in the air, the warmth of the sun, the shadow of the moon. We just returned from a beautiful experience. For me, it is soulful, not just a vacation but a blending of the time spent and the time to come all in the present. A way to unwind. We don't do anything special. Mostly, nothing, but it is a wonderful way to wind down and wind back up for the coming year. Here are a few pictures you might enjoy.

The view from the balcony.
The first sunrise. I always love arising to the beautiful skies over the Atlantic. Hope you enjoyed your tour with me. Frank

  1. Oh how I miss the serenity of the "sea". When we lived in Wisconsin we would often visit the quaint towns along Lake superior and Lake Michigan. Lovely vacation indeed.

    1. The sea speaks to me. It speaks peace and calmness but I know that lurking beneath those waves is anything but calm! It was a blessed vacation.

    1. Heather I would love to be there when you finally see it. We have taken many folks that had never seen it and watched them for the first time. It is magical.

Words, movies, pictures cannot describe what you will feel when you step into the sandy surf. I hope you go soon.

  5. Hi Pamela,
    Thanks for visiting me :-D
Looks like you had a nice vacation, but I know what you mean about being glad to be home too!

We too enjoy re-enacting we have been doing a lot with the War of 1812 here in WNY and Canada.
This weekend coming up we shall be doing a Tea at Old Fort Niagara and then there will be a night battle! I am looking very forward!

Yes I am a very fortunate blessed owner of the Lustreware (many pieces thankfully inherited from English Great Grandmother (a fine woman she was)!:-D
    Many Blessings, Linnie
