Autumn is on its way...

Today was the first day of Summer where you could actually breathe around here. Oh, it was warm and a bit humid early on but later a cool summer breeze flew through the yard and it was wonderful. I've been doing a bit of Autumn decorating and thought I'd post a few pics. These are from my Keeping Room.

    1. Andrea,

It is okra and it is beautiful this year, and costly. I am going to try to get some after the farmers are finished harvesting.

I like to string it with black walnuts, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks and pecans.

If I get some made I will post on here and my PictureTrail. Thanks.

  6. So beautiful, takes me back 50 years or so, when my childhood home looked much like your pictures.
You preserve the past so beautifully.
